GPT processing facilities of the Institute

This facility is extended to promising entrepreneurs as a STARTUP pilot plant to increase revenue and technology commercialization.

The Director, ICAR-CIRG Makhdoom is pleased to approve Rates and Modalities for Utilization of GPT Processing Facilities as per following details:-

Terms and Conditions for Utilization of GPT Processing Facilities

1. Utilization of Milk Processing Facility

The facility for raw milk processing (including water and electricity usage) will be extended to Startups, registered firms, Self-Help Groups (SHG's), and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO's).

• Charge: Rs. 150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) per 100 liter of milk.
• Minimum Deposit: A minimum deposit of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) per day for milk processing must be paid by the firm.
• Reservation of Rights: The lab reserves the right to deny space in case of experimental slaughter being conducted by lab scientists.
• User Responsibility: The utilizing party must use their own manpower, minor equipment, and utensils, and are required to clean and disinfect the premises after completing the work.

2. Utilization of Milk Product Processing Facilities of GPT Lab

The processing and storage facility of the GPT lab will be extended to registered firms/Startups/SHG's/FPO's to popularize milk product processing technologies.

• Charge: A charge of 10% of the finished product rate, which is Rs. 25/- (Rupees Thirty only) per kg of product (Paneer is currently sold by the lab at Rs. 240/kg may be charged towards utilizing processing space, machinery, and electricity/water charges.
• User Responsibility: The utilizing party must bring their own technical manpower, and they must clean and disinfect the machineries and space after completion of usage.
• Institute's Right: The Institute reserves the right to deny entry.

3. General Terms and Conditions

• Application Process: Interested parties must write to the Director, ICAR-CIRG, through the I/c GPT lab for utilizing the facilities, and allotment will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Conduct: The utilizing party must ensure that the peace and sanctity of the Institute's premises are not adversely affected, and they shall not indulge in any activity detrimental to the safety/security of the premises and assets.
• Liability: The utilizing party shall bear any loss caused by or attributable to them to any property of the Institute. Machine fault or any other mishappening during the operation of the milk processing unit will be borne by the party/firm.
• Preference: Preference will be given for goat milk processing.
• Branding & Acknowledgement: The company/firm cannot use the image of the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Goats, Makhdoom, in branding and marketing unless approved by ICAR-CIRG. However, they must acknowledge the technical support provided by the GPT lab, ICAR-CIRG, Makhdoom.
• Jurisdiction: All legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Mathura court only.
• Director's Right: The Director, ICAR-CIRG, Makhdoom, reserves the right to:

              -Scrap the facility ab-initio with no legal/financial liability on the part of the                          institute.

             - Accept or reject proposals.

             - Amend the terms and conditions as and when required depending upon the                          priorities and mandate of the institute.
