ICAR-CIRG, Makhdoom organized a programme under Development Action Plan for Scheduled Caste (DAPSC) on 12.11.2020 at Farah


ICAR-CIRG, Makhdoom organized a programme under Development Action Plan for Scheduled Caste (DAPSC) on 12.11.2020 at Farah town to distribute materials to the beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste (SC) community. In this programme 70 beneficiaries (50 Men + 20 Women) gathered and each was provided with a good quality Thermo steel flask, a back-pack and a lunch packet. The programme was organized by DAPSC team in the guidance of Dr. Gopal Dass, Nodal Officer DAPSC and presided over by Dr. B.  Rai, Acting-Director ICAR-CIRG. Shri. K. K. Pachauri, Chairman, Farah Town Area was the special guest in this function. During this programme, every participant and guest followed all precautionary measures for COVID 19.

Dr. B. Rai, Director (Acting), Dr. Gopal Dass, Nodal Officer, DAPSC, Dr. Braj Mohan, Incharge, EE&SE Section, Dr. Nitika Sharma, Scientist, Dr. Moh. Arif, Scientist and Dr. Vijay Kishore, Technical Officer of the institute attended the programme. Dr. B. Rai explained the participants about goat training programmes and assured the beneficiaries for extending help to promote goat farming in Farah town. Dr. Gopal Dass detailed about the activities of the DAPSC programme to the beneficiaries. The preparations for this programme were done by Dr. Vijay Kishore and Sheep Project Staff. Dr. Vijay Kishore conducted the meeting and also proposed vote of thanks.
